Ships for NOK 23 billion

Five Vard contracts account for almost half of order intake in 2018.

Sales and marketing organization “Norske Skipsverft” has registered a total of 45 contracts of more than NOK 50 million per contract at Norwegian shipyard, so far this year, according to “Nett.no”. The total order intake is NOK 23 billion so far this year 2018. The turnover is far ahead of the 2017 level. Then there were 47 contracts for a total of NOK 15.5 billion, throughout 2017.

The new “Hurtigrute” ship Roald Amundsen under outfitting at Kleven shipyard in Ulsteinvik. Cruise and expedition vessels account for about half of the order mass at Norwegian shipyards.
