Our services include advising our clients in cross-regional (Europe/S.E.A.) business matters such are investments, start-ups, strategies, and outsourcing of materials, equipment, technology and other resources.
We provide our clients with management consulting in production transfer projects, in establishing country operations and in existing country operations. We also take responsibility for the entire project sequence from planning and preparation to the implementation and after-implementation services.
For instance, in Vietnam, we assist you to locate facilities, create your organization, establish procedures and form an adequate local business network. We make available the human resources, training, legal assistance, procurement / outsourcing, and relations / communication channels to all stakeholders.
In its simplified format, we can provide you with assistance in establishing a local sales office or to find a local investment / business partner. Usually this takes only months. In establishing a representative office, we provide you with guidelines and necessary contacts.
A typical industrial start-up project (Greenfield) lasts normally from one to two years and includes close team-work among the different roles and tasks, or disciplines, such as Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager, Supply & Delivery Manager, Human Resource Manager, ICT Deployment Manager, Site Manager, Quality Manager, EHS Manager, Financial Controller and the local service providers.
With our Client, we plan and decide the responsibilities carried out of each party, and between the main project organization – the client and Gateway Norway AS – and the local service providers that normally are of the existing local network of Gateway Norway AS.
In a single industrial start-up / Greenfield project the responsibilities of Gateway Norway AS may start from the project plan and end to the hand-over to the local Operations / Site Manager. During the project, the project control – schedule, budget, quality and communications – and of course, the end results are on focus.
We are also available for Operate & Maintain (O&M) project that is a natural continuing of an industrial start-up project, or for O&M of existing operations.
If the whole project starts as a Greenfield O&M project, we provide the expertise to manage the project’s phases and the transitions between the phases, including solutions that are tailored to suit client-specific needs and assets.
